Aide is a solution to our global ageing population. It aims to preserve the independence of seniors and vulnerable adults by utilising current smart home and connected technologies, to create a smarter home environment. The Aide smart home creates a valuable and ultra-accessible line of communication between family and friends to prevent injury, monitor health and provide peace of mind.

The idea behind Aide is to utilise todays smart home and connected technology to enable and encourage the senior and vulnerable adults of our community.
Aide is made up of four devices, a wearable monitor, motion sensors, a smart doorbell and a AI home companion, called Aida.
Key metrics on movement, sleep and security are relayed to a companion through an intuitive reporting platform where they can then connect with their loved one and make changes remotely.
The design of the application had to accommodate the expansive amounts of data which will be previewed.
Prototyping the application was important to make sure all aspects of the user experience were fine tuned.
Testing the application provided much needed insight into how people use the interface and the problems they encountered.
The design solution of all four devices across the top came from wire-framing and testing.
The graphic styling was important to help communicate a complex and personal solution, it also needed to be flexible and expansive to keep consistency in future marketing outcomes. The icons are used as identification for each sensor within the app.
